This guide covers the Nikon Z version available in our simulator. Confirm the mount and model generation before buying.

WHY CONSIDER IT

Choose the frame deliberately.

Try the two ends of the range from the same camera position. Moving the camera changes perspective; turning the zoom ring changes framing.

The maximum aperture changes from f/4 to f/6.3. Compare a shorter f/2.8 zoom if low-light work is a priority.

An educational guide based on specifications, not a hands-on review. The simulator does not measure autofocus, sharpness or lens-specific bokeh.

Check your camera’s format

Sensor size changes the field of view. Select your body above to compare framing with the sensor format Apertura supports for that combination.

About adapters

No adapted combinations are verified in this guide. Use the native mount shown above, or check an exact lens, adapter and body combination with the manufacturers before buying.

WHERE TO BUY

The right version.
From your retailer.

Prices and stock are checked at the retailer. Currency identifies the shopping market; no converted price estimates are displayed.

A few useful answers.

Does the aperture change as I zoom?

The maximum aperture changes from f/4 at the wide end to f/6.3 at the telephoto end.

Which camera mount does this version use?

This page covers the Nikon Z version. The camera selector lists compatible native-mount bodies currently available in Apertura. A similar brand or focal length does not guarantee a compatible mount.

Can the simulator tell me how sharp it is?

No. It estimates framing, depth of field and exposure. Use manufacturer information and independent hands-on testing to assess rendering, autofocus and optical quality.
